lights out

It's been about 17 months since I last redesigned this site, implementing Movable Type and switching to a more "standard" blog format. It's been a nice run, but I think it's finally time to start thinking about something new. I've grown tired of this site in its current form, which is definitely one of the reasons I haven't been updating much as of late.

Another reason I haven't updated is simply because I haven't had the time. As I mentioned back in July, I've been really busy with work and school, both of which are going really well right now. I'm enjoying my freelance work as well, no doubt in part thanks to the fact that my interest in games has been completely revitalized over the course of the past few months (finally!). I've been finding myself wanting to write about games more and more lately, which got me to thinking about maybe starting up a game-related blog for all my random thoughts and impressions and stuff. So who knows, that may be the next step for this site... if I ever get around to making any actual changes. :)

In any case, thanks for reading, and be sure to keep an eye out for whatever comes next. No guarantees it'll be anything special (or happen any time soon), but we'll see...

By the way, I've disabled comments on all older entries (thank the legions of MT spammers for that one), but I'll leave this one open in case anyone wants to leave a note.
